Whilst having an old church building provides a lovely environment for a worship, it presents a number of issues from a point of the fabric and upkeep of the building. Time and weather has taken it’s toll on the Ringway Life Building, with many areas needing urgent attention and repair.

A complete re-pointing job of all the exterior brick-work is the biggest task at hand, and work has taken place to grind out the 130 year old mortar and replace with fresh. The iron security grates over the windows have been cleaned and de-rusted and painted, and treatment of the exterior woodwork has commenced.

Inside, the oak beams holding the roof up have been braced and some work has taken place to improve the sound within areas used for children’s Sabbath School
