Our heating boiler at Ringway is oil fired. The tank, after many years exposed to the elements, had corroded to the point where it posed a environmental risk. After the removal of the old tank, dedicated Ringway members worked to pour a new concrete base in preparation for the new tank which was successfully installed, filled, the piping bled and the boiler fired up. With the swift arrival of a cold Autumn we’re all looking forward to being safe and warm!
This month also saw the septic tank being pumped out and cleaned, another challenge of having a building some way off the main utility services!
The ongoing brickwork to replace blown and crumbling bricks on the buttresses that support the exterior walls continues but inclement weather has delayed this.
Once again, the church is very grateful for all the support from members and friends to help with the ongoing work to preserve the fabric of the building
