Dear Ringway Church family,
As I write this message, the country of Ukraine, motherland of many of our precious brothers and sisters from Ringway, is undergoing an unprecedented situation with many already suffering and distraught.
In Matt. 24:6-8 Jesus was saying that life in the end times would be tumultuous. Wars, famines, earthquakes would be on the earth. Jesus was not only talking about the fall of Jerusalem but also had the context of the end of times in mind when he appealed to his disciples to not be afraid! In John 16:33, Jesus comforts us with these words: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Jesus will not forget, abandon, or leave us. When he comes in glory, we will share in it too! We are to be faithful, ready, and unafraid!
Let us keep praying united as a church family so that the people of God living in the Ukraine “may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” 1 Timothy 2:2 (NASB).
